Outreach

Open House

Each year, the Garman Art Conservation Department hosts a public Open House to share our work with the broader community. In Fall 2024, I contributed to planning and leading the event, welcoming visitors into our labs to view current projects and engage with hands-on demonstrations. The Open House serves as an opportunity to connect with the public and raise awareness about the field of art conservation.

Emerging Conservation Professionals Network (ECPN), AIC

I currently serve as Outreach Co-Officer for the Emerging Conservation Professionals Network (ECPN), where I coordinate with liaisons and develop resources to support early-career conservators. Previously, I founded the first ECPN regional group in Connecticut, organizing events including lab tours and networking meet-ups to strengthen the local conservation community.

Lab Tours

During my graduate studies and at internship sites, I have presented conservation treatments during lab tours designed for donors, K–12 students, members of the public, and allied professionals, helping to raise awareness and foster appreciation for the conservation field.
