Cait Green is a Graduate Fellow in the Garman Art Conservation Department at SUNY Buffalo State University with a specialization in paintings. She earned a Bachelor of Arts with dual majors in Art History and Studio Art from Wittenberg University in 2015 and a Master of Arts degree in the History of Art and Architecture from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2018.

Cait is the 12-Month Graduate Intern in Paintings Conservation at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City. She also recently completed a 20-Day graduate internship at the Whitney Museum of American Art, treating a painting for the 2026 Biennial. Cait will be the incoming Richard I. Shader Paintings Conservation Fellow at the Harvard Art Museums’ Straus Center for Conservation and Technical Studies.

Cait has been an active volunteer with AIC’s Emerging Conservation Professionals Network (ECPN), previously serving as Outreach Co-Officer and currently as the ECPN Liaison for the Paintings Specialty Group. She is also an editor for the Paintings Specialty Group Wiki.
